I requested a quotation from Graham Eshelby of JODA Freight for the transport of a large oven from LS10 to LS9 (less than 2 miles), quoted at £250. Despite the high price, I accepted and paid to expedite the move. The driver picked up the oven from LS10 but did not unload it at LS9 due to the roof height and forklift issues( which were not communicated beforehand). The driver consulted with Graham and decided to return with a power truck and forklift for safe delivery.
On Monday, Graham informed me that the delivery was not planned and rescheduled for Tuesday. Later, he demanded an additional £250, and when I initially refused, Neil Tullett, a Director, called to insist on payment, threatening to dump the oven otherwise. With no other option, I paid another £250.
What should have cost around £150 + VAT ended up costing me £500 + VAT. I shared this experience as a cautionary tale for others to avoid similar situations.
I am happy to share payment receipts and communication details if you have any queries.
Terrible experience and horrible customer service. The company started by damaging my kitchen cabinets during packing day. Lost my items upon arrived to the warehouse and failed to identified them. Took them over a week to find half of my items that were misplaced in the warehouse. Damaged so many things and refuse to take responsibility for the damaged items to include items that were brand new for a baby. Claimed that items weren’t labeled which is their company responsibility. Long story short do not do business with them.

Breach Contract: The company failed to meet the 3-day delivery timeframe outlined in the contract, which is a clear breach.
Lack of Due Diligence: They didn't ensure all necessary documents were present before shipping, which is a sign of poor preparation.
Missing Documentation: The company didn't provide any proof of shipment, which is essential for tracking purposes.
Miscommunication: They failed to update the recipient on the package's whereabouts, even after receiving updated delivery information.
Incorrect Delivery: The package was supposed to be delivered to the recipient's apartment, requiring an ID for verification, but this didn't happen. They also didn't provide information on where the package was left.
Unresponsive: The company stopped communicating with the recipient, leaving them in the dark about the package's fate.
This combination of failures led to the loss of the package and a complete lack of transparency from the company. It's definitely unacceptable and demonstrates negligence on their part.
took them 7 weeks to deliver package that was to arrive in 3-5 days claimed they failed to provide documentation of the sent package they still have not forwarded the documentation delivered the package but supplied no information of the delivery lack of transparency very poor customer service
I have had the pleasure of collaborating with Airmarine SP Ltd. for several years, and they have consistently demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and outstanding customer service. Their expertise in freight forwarding is unmatched, and they always go the extra mile to ensure smooth operations, even under tight deadlines or challenging circumstances.
As a partner, they are transparent, proactive, and solution-oriented, making them a trusted ally in the logistics chain. I highly recommend Airmarine SP Ltd. to anyone seeking a dependable freight forwarder in the Riga region or beyond.
I’ve had one of the worst shipping experiences of my life with RTW Logistics. Weeks have passed, and I still don’t have my package as I write this review. Throughout this entire ordeal, the team at RTW—Mithlesh Kumar, Umesh, Airimports, Lakshmi Shankar, Aaditya, Kishor, and Cecil Vinod—offered no help, no support, and no sense of responsibility. In my opinion, they simply do not care about the shipper or the receiver.
What’s worse, I’m now facing an outrageous storage fee of $4,935.98, all at no fault of my own. I even offered my personal phone number and made myself available 24/7, yet that made no difference. Now, their phone numbers have stopped working entirely, and they’ve stopped responding to my emails as well.
The lack of communication and accountability is astonishing, and if you’re considering using this company, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere. Go with reputable carriers like UPS, DHL, or USPS. Otherwise, you risk losing your item or facing outrageous fees with no resolution in sight.
In my opinion, RTW Logistics is a company to stay far away from.
Contacted Viamar for our move from Ontario to Scotland.
Was quoted for 200 cubic feet of household goods (on a 7’x4’x7’ pallet)
I marked the area in the garage and packed exactly in those measurements, because I didn’t want to have to pay more for going over our allotted amount.
I was told the crate would leave mid July, and they would pick up the beginning of July.
Pick up scheduled for July 4th.
The movers were quick and professional and had everything loaded quickly.
After that zero communication from viamar until August 10th saying that the ship had departed August 2 (so not mid July), with an extra charge for extra cubic footage. (which you can’t argue with when you weren’t the one packing it, and didn’t receive any photos showing the overage… fine)
It got held up in Rotterdam in customs, and then again in England. (not their fault at all ~ I understand that they have no control over customs and inspections)
Communication was horrible during the entire thing. We ended up reaching out to them for updates because they were not keeping us up to date while things were being delayed for weeks in customs.
Finally get a delivery date ~ October 2. (this was 3 months after the boxes left our house.)
Truck arrives and the boxes are tossed all over the back of the truck. They had used one rope to tie down the boxes, and the rope broke, so everything was all over the place.
Every single box was damaged, ripped or crushed. My husband’s toolbox was broken, as well as 7 picture frames, 2 sculptures, and 2 kitchen storage containers, a clock, and some plastic storage containers. (and one of the boxes had been eaten through by a mouse or rat, and they ate through my husband’s pants that were in the box…)
I thought, its ok ~ Afterall we paid for the $20,000 insurance coverage….
Nope ~ that only covers total loss of all of your belongings.
They also lost 1 of our boxes (presumably the one that “didn’t fit” on our pallet) ~ reached out multiple times via email ~ and I was told that they would look for the box at their Toronto warehouse. (Last communication from them was October 9, 2024, Review posted October 22, 2024.)
I think more than half of these reviews are either fake or their work ethic and honestly has gone down. Contacted them for help with my shipment and they were very helpful and attentive up until they were paid . Once paid they were always out the office on vacation or didn’t have any information or couldn’t help. Honestly save your time and money and look other places for help. I wouldn’t recommend them at all.
