We paid full price for a complete package, from source to destination including packaging, disassembling of furniture, shipping the container, handling everything at destination, and reassembling.

However, the moving company at destination would not reassemble the furniture, they were not paid for it by Sonigo. So, we got stuck with disassembled furniture.

Sonigo simply does not care. A huge disappointment, and breach of contract.

Worst experience. they canceled the shipment a day earlier. Very bad treatment of the staff, especially Igal Morag. Do not entrust your belongings to this company.

I have had the pleasure and experience to use Sonigo and their partner Frachtmeister Europe-Bratislava in packing and transporting 20ft container from Bratislava to Ashdod using their door-to-door service. Good indication that I was dealing with a reliable company was their price quote, which included THC and detailed all costs which are included as well as those, which might arise. My point of contact was Ed Singer from sales and I was very happy with his professionalism, help and service: every single question I had, he answered in detail and explained my options. What was agreed upon, he fulfilled and the whole move went very smooth. (Unfortunately, the container was selected by Meches for X-ray inspection, but there was nothing to do much about it and it was also the extra cost mentioned in the agreement). Not a single (!!!) piece of glass, porcelain and fragile items (12 boxes!) broke, and the artwork and antique furniture was delivered in exactly the same condition as when it was packed! On top of this remarkably professional service and approach, the transport itself was much faster than estimated, instead of 5-7 weeks, the container arrived already after 7 days! Movers in Israel were very skilled, fast and professional. 5 stars and kuddos for this company and their staff. They did excellent job and I can only recommend their services for olim and ohers!

Fantastic service. I moved my stuff from the USA -- everything was packed with care, and the shipment arrived perfectly intact (down to the last item). Their customer service is responsive, courteous, and genuinely helpful (thanks Shmuel!) and their pricing is very fair compared to several options I checked.

very nice sales team but execution is poor. Took them almost two months to send the container from ashdod (overall it took almost three months since collection) The final Price exceeded the estimation given in the quote.

The dutch partner scheduled the delivery in the morning but the truck driver arrived in the evening, no explanation was provided.

UK vs. Israel - Top service and care at both ends!

I was moving my things from the UK to Israel and had an excellent experience with Sonigo from initial contact to the final delivery.

All the personnel on the UK side exceeded their customer service. On the collection day many of my possessions had to be repacked as they had been in storage for a few years and it was done very professionally. I will also add that the guys turned up on site at the specified time. No delays.

Once the goods arrived in Israel we were kept in the loop and Sonigo went over and above to help us out.

On the delivery day, I was working from home and did not even hear the removal guys walk straight past my office door.

We have not had one single piece damaged.

We want to thank Shmuel, Yaniv and the whole Sonigo team who were involved in our move on both the UK and Israeli side for a fantastic service . We are so grateful. Thank you.

I was contacted the day after asking for a quote from Sonigo, and given a full and complete explanation of the service for moving to Europe. The home visit was scheduled for a couple of days later and the assessment was professional, friendly and personal. The packing service was also very professional, courteous and fast. During the time my shipment was in storage, I was frequently kept appraised by the company. Upon arrival at the destination for the final delivery, the delivery agents were in contact with me and the delivery took longer than I expected (over 2 months). Everything eventually arrived, although upon unwrapping, I later noticed some damage to items and contacted the insurance company. Be sure to check items closely within 30 days of delivery to see if there is damage. My only other small caveat is to be aware the the Service Contract only covers delivery to the second floor. Many European properties are on higher levels and without elevators, which would incur an extra charge.

I regret not reading all the negative feedbacks here before I used Sonigo’s services, that would have saved me and my family a lot of anguish. We used Sonigo’s services to relocate from Israel to Germany and to summarize:

1. The shipment should have arrived after 10 working days max according to the agreement, but it arrived after 18 days. Although the delay, we were not updated about a new shipping date and did not receive any updates from Sonigo about what is going on with our boxes. We sent many valuable items, and this was a very stressful experience.

2. The shipment net volume was 2.07 meter-square but turned out to be 3.46 meter-square after Sonigo’s Packaging (Yes, that is 67% more!!) – costing us 9,811 NIS instead of the estimated 7,200 NIS (and this is after a “600 NIS discount” I received after confronting them about this on the phone). It turns out that they place the boxes on wooden bases with a fixed width and length of 115 cm – a crucial detail that we were not informed about. Since our boxes were 40X40X60, they didn’t fit efficiently into the wooden bases, leading to large unused voids. I had to investigate this myself from abroad after receiving the ridicules bill.

3. On the day of shipment, the shipment was due arrive at 10:00-11:00 but eventually arrived at 16:00. I took a day off work and scratched my head all day waiting for them. Simply outrageous.

Best shipping company there is. I work there.

Have used twice for personal moves. The first was ok, but the second was a mess from start to finish. The packers were late and did not pack my art well. They just threw a bunch of pieces with glass in a box without any protection. Needless to say, glass broke.

They gave contradictory payment information. When payment was made, they continued to request it... even with proof of payment...because they had poor communication with their subcontractor

They kept asking for new paperwork, like this was the first time that they'd ever done this.

Generally difficult to deal with and uncooperative.
