I have found it extremely hard to give this company even one star.
This morning I had a delivery of two boxes containing a trampoline.
My front door bell was rung and as I went out of my back door I saw the delivery man walking back across the road. I called out to him and I asked if the boxes could be brought to my side gate. He muttered something which I think was that he had been told to leave the boxes in the hall.
I pointed out to him that he had left the two very heavy boxes in the rain outside my front porch door which meant that I could not even open the porch door. The driver returned to his van and sat there watching me trying to pull the porch door open so that I could begin to try to pull the boxes into my porch and into the front hall. I eventually managed and at that point the driver drove off.
I am in my seventies and although I believe I am quite fit I had great trouble trying to move the boxes out of the rain and into the house.
I feel I must email the company who I bought the trampoline from to tell them of my experience in the hope that it will not happen to anyone else.
The company states " Special people Special company " nothing could be further from the truth in my experience.
I am extremely happy with the way my above grumble is now being investigated by Mainfreightuk. They have been honest, supportive and professional throughout my dealings with them.
I now understand that the way I was treated by the delivery company who Mainfreightuk gave the contract to, fell very short of Mainfreightuk's expectations and I appreciate the time they are taking to ensure my experience isn't repeated to any other customer. I wish the company well and now know that my one star review reflects on the company who actually delivered my trampoline not Mainfreightuk . Thank you.
