The good: my order arrived.
The bad: there was some damage on the delivery pallet, the cardboard on some of the items had been torn open and the delivery spent 4 days sitting in the Adelaide depot before someone got assigned to deliver it.
The ugly: the delivery driver broke a large tree branch while trying to complete the final delivery.
Wow what a poor unprofessional company. They damaged our goods and then apparently lost our goods and for the last month have not been able to find them despite saying they had delivered them. There response is it's your problem and we don't have insurance for lost goods yet they still can't tell us where our goods are. If you charge for a service surely you have some responsibility to deliver that service. Well apparently not for this backyard outfit. Steer clear you have been warned.
Our company wishes to thank the staff and especially Kade for their wonderful assistance regarding the emergency freight we required. They followed through from the beginning to the end. The freight got to its destination as per their assurance given. We have been trading with Mainfreight for over 20 years and their professional services have never disappointed. Well done to all... many thanks again.
Poor delivery, waiting 2 weeks for delivery because I don't have a forklift to unload at my end! Can easily be unpacked by hand 1 pallet of lightweight goods.
Have had nothing but trouble with Mainfreight. Our business requires long lengths of expensive material to be sent interstate every month, and every time we used Mainfreight, the material gets destroyed. Mainfreight also do not like to take any responsibility for their poor handling and loading of material on their trucks. This company is as rough as they come. We used to give Mainfreight 'specific' instructions to contact us before delivery (either AM or PM) to ensure that material can be unloaded at our end, but the drivers are so incompetent, they just turn up unannounced and cannot follow simple instructions. So, it requires re-delivery wasting everyone's time and further delaying delivery of materials. Unfortunately, it does not help as most of the drivers cannot speak a work of English. We now use other carriers that are competitively priced, can actually communicate and deliver our goods in the same condition as they left.
