Thank you Luna Shipping for shipping my vehicleS from the UK to AFRICA. My first car got to Plumtree border in december 2020 & also my most recent truck to dar es salaam which arrived today :) . It was hassle free they even supplied help in delivering my truck to the port. i am a small business and i will be using luna shipping for all my vehicle shipments going forward this i have two more to ship this week and will again share my experience hopefully it will be as good as the first two. RECOMMEND SO FAR.

Great job to all members of staff at Luna. I firstly had a quote from charlie who was excellent not only did he match and beat a quote i had been offered he gave me the confidence to go ahead. He also arranged the delivery to the port for my vehicle and everything went smoothly well done. Unfortunately at the time of arrival in Namibia he was off on holiday but another member of staff stepped in Matt to carry out the clearance and delivery to plumtree border it was made very easy. there was a slight delay due to covid19 however matt stepped in to make sure we was all updated throughout. i will be using you again next year thank you !!!!

As i promised i would leave a review, Luna shipped my luggage over to Zimbabwe and was professional with the whole shipment i got my goods within a week and will make sure i recommend them to all my friends and family.

Good morning. Just feel i must warn others of how ive been treated by this company. I was recommend luna by someone who knew someone. But to be honest id wished id looked around! Ive shipped a daf 7& half truck and a toyota rav 4 .paid nearly 6 grand to do so .on arrival to walvis bay it was on lock down my husband was told that no payment was needed for lockup as due to lockdown noone is moving! Then on trying several times to csll luna we eventually were told they felt that vehicles were better off moved to a SECURE lrivate parking area !we were then hit with a months parking bill off of over £500.luna then denied sayin no charge ! Keep in mind no one still not allowed to move around! I had my clearance agent he was denied access to my vehicles to take pictures to make sure all was in tact! So eventually he was allowed to retrieve my vehicles only to find RADIO from my truck ripped out .heavey duty padlock from truck stolen then truck had been looted! Toyota rave has had driver door ripped off and eletric window buttons stolen.a sat nav left hangin as theyve tried to rip it out but cudnt! A package ripped open and strewn over floor .my agent was not allowed to my vehicles untill id paid luna! Im now still fighting with luna as they put my vehicles in a secured park then billed me then their guys have looted and wrecked my vehicles. SO USE THIS COMPANY AT YOUR OWN RISK i also have pictures

I used Luna to ship a car to Walvis Bay in December 2019. Very poor customer service from Matt Curtis. I was forced to ask for a complaints procedure and he gave an email that just kept rejecting my email. The recipient reported that many people were having difficulties with Luna Shipping in Walvis Bay. Never again will I ever use them, don't go near them.

SHIPPING MY GOODS BY AIR FREIGHT - Hassle freight and very cheap thank you will i will be using again in the future.

The team at LUNA have been brilliant throughout, I flew over to the UK purchased my goods met the guys there got a quote and booked.
I had arranged with LUNA to get all my goods / vehicle collected and delivered to the depot which they arranged without any problems – all while I was back in Zimbabwe, they kept me updated throughout also. The customer care I’ve have obtained has been fantastic.
My goods where then loaded and secured into the container. I am currently in Zimbabwe awaiting my goods.

Enjoyed my first time shipping with Luna to Lagos my vehicle got there safe and only took 14 days.

3rd year in a row using you guys to get my goods home for xmas and id like to say Thank you Luna Shipping for shipping my household goods from the UK to Harare. It was hassle free they even supplied help in loading the Container outside my house. Highly recommended you to all my friends.

Never again, the list of negative issues with these guys is too long for this review. After bill of lading is done, having told them several times the vehicle was getting shipped with some spares, they come back with 400 GBP extra cost because of "loading". Clear as mud when it comes to process of shipping, have no idea about the quality and credentials of their own 3rd party contractors. Terrible. Lesson learned. I would not recommend them to move my dog house. The only positive is possibly my container has arrived early, but i would suggest that has absolutely nothing to do with them because other than the BOL they provided me with nothing, I had to do everything or pay extra. Which in any case I am now doing. If there was minus stars that would be my rating.

This has to be one of the worst shipping companies around. They overcharged me by £1,300.00 on dimensions they measured. Their customer service is very poor, especially when you start to seek your refund. The agents in Namibia confirmed that l was not the first person they overcharged. I dealt with a guy called Matt, so arrogant and does everything possible to make you lose your hard earned money. I would not recommend anyone to use this shipping company. If you take risks, l still advise you not to use this company, beware beware beware. If you are shipping for a relative or friend, avoid this company.

I never usually do these reviews but i was very happy with my air freight to Harare, the air freight only took 3 DAYS!! from when they collected it to arrive to Harare and at really good prices.

I don’t often leave as many positive reviews as I should however in this case the guys at Luna were brilliant, from start to finish both the staff & the management were very helpful and tailor-made my shipping experience to cater all my needs. Our vehicle arrived in the same condition we left it in, we were very happy with the extra mile they went. The also offered a 50% deposit scheme too allow us the extra time to clear our balance whilst in transit.

Luna Shipping Ltd provided a brilliant service from start to finish, I originally called several months earlier with not a clue on how to ship my suv and goods overseas. Luna was patient and not only offer an incredibly cheap price they were also very patient with myself & my wife and clearly guided us through the process. Several months went past and we was ready to ship. We called Luna and they even managed to keep the same price we had budgeted for. I was a rookie & had no clue onto how to load the container. Luna provided this service for me. I delivered all my goods over a period of time to their local depot. I then was allowed to come and watch the container be loaded and secured professionally. My goods were delayed by a couple of days but I suppose that is shipping, all my goods arrived safely and in the same condition. GREAT SERVICE HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

This is my first review i have done before, reason being is that the service Luna Shipping provided was superb.

firstly with other company's in the past when i have requested quotes they take to long and have been rude to myself, however Luna shipping gave me a quote instantly and was very helpful.

secondly the rates was better then what i have paid in the past to send a 40ft container and they provided a place and a hard working team to load my container. i would highly recommend if your not sure about shipping then i would give them a call and you wont regret it.

Used them for shipping my car. I just noticed my car is almost at the border in South Africa next stop beitbridge. Luna Shipping did their part brilliantly and helped me with extra things. Terrible service. Do not use this company.My wife and two young children relocated to Zambia from the uk, I received a quote for a 40ft container for our personal belongings. The quote was competitive and reasonable so we decided on Luna. We arranged for the container to arrive at our house approx 3 weeks before we flew out. All sorted (or so we thought). After paying 80% upfront our problems began...suddenly the container wasn’t available on the date we’d agreed in advance and paid for. We found this out 2 days before the container was due to arrive at our house. After a stressful, few days of chasing them,Luna arranged another date 10 days before we fly out. No problem I thought still plenty of time, same thing happened again, a day before the container arrived, cancelled. This happened a few times. I ended up having to pack a 40ft container on morning we flew out!!!!. And the price had increased by £500. 3 months has passed, and we still haven’t got our container!!! Unprofessional. If you value your mental health go elsewhere.

Great service from start to finish

Because I paid Luna shipping for the service i will pin all the blame on them, but for me their problem is this Vernon Gapara guy in Walvis Bay. This guy is a liar and is going to ruin Luna's name. Even the transporter drivers will tell you he is a liar and Vernon will say anything to get you of his back. Recently he vowed that thefts occuring in loaded vehicles is occuring between Sheerness and arrival into Walvis bay port, and not in Walvis Bay itself. A while back, I witnessed a customer, who had come to collect his car, call out a clearing agent's driver for stealing from his car. the driver was wearing shoes and jeans he had stolen from the car he had gone to collect from the port on behalf of the clearing agent. to say it was an embarrassing moment is an understatement. While this was not a Luna shipping clearing agent, it shows where thefts are occuring
