    My package Has been out for shipping since the fifth and my package is still not here on the 11th and today was the day that is supposed to came in

    I ordered a very large and slightly heavy, very fragile item from Washington state. To be delivered to my house. Locomote Express contacted me on Friday afternoon to verify that someone would be there to receive the box. They stated that the driver would be there between 2:00 and 4:00 pm on Monday. The driver arrived a few minutes before 2:00. The box was in excellent condition! It looked like it had just left the vendor. My wife stated that the driver was very courteous and placed the order inside our garage. I would highly recommend using this company for your shipping needs.

    Twice we have received product from this company that was damaged. Not to mention it sits in their warehouse for DAYS before they schedule the delivery (AEB tracking updates). Very poor quality in their delivery services. The first product was damaged by a forklift and the second product was CLEARLY left upside down (and the box says not to turn upside down) on its corner and the corner of the product was busted (IMAGINE THAT). This company has damaged over $1,000 worth of product now.

    Took a day off work to receive a shipment of a tool that weighed 850 lbs. Company decided not to strap the machine down inside the truck and believe it or not, it fell over... who would have thought that if you don't secure something, it will be an issue??? No compensation at all for my trouble and experience I had with the driver and the entire process of the delivery. Would not recommend to deliver anything! Run as far as you can if you have the ability to use another carrier.

    In response to the owner:
    What other service allows you to damage items and not be fully responsible or try to make it better?? The tool manufacturer stated that this happens frequently and they know they will not be fully compensated for the damages to the items. Maybe people should take more responsibility.

    If you go to a restaurant and have bad service or food, do they work with you on adjusting the price or trying to make it right?

    If you have a company that provides internet or tv and is frequently having issues, do they try to compensate you by reducing your bill or giving you something to keep the customer happy?

    If someone is working in your home and damages something, would they just say it's my fault, but not try to accommodate the homeowner?

    The list could go on and on.

    The part that frustrates me more than the negligence of the person who didn't secure the item is the apathetic attitude of "well, we were wrong, didn't do our job, but sorry, we aren't going to do anything to make it better for you." Other than showing up on time (which I seem to do every single day I go to work) and returning a damaged item back to where it came from, what exactly would lead me to give you a better rating?

    It may not be an industry standard to compensate the homeowner, but wouldn't it be a nice courtesy to help the person you made things harder for?

    Here is an ironic twist, they strapped a damaged item down on the way back to their facility instead of doing it right the first time.

    From my first phone contact from Tom at Locomote Express, through the delivery, I experienced nothing but clear communication and excellent service. The process was seamless. Casey Hayes went above and beyond during the delivery process...from contacting me about the delivery time, being responsive to our delivery equipment needs and offloading our cargo. This was the very best truck delivery experience we have had in 10 years!

    I had to coordinate with Locomote from the West Coast and they were incredibly professional and helpful, they kept me updated and we didn't run into any issues. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone with moving needs in the West Virginia area.

    First delivery driver arrived way earlier than scheduled delivery window. Called company, rep called driver and he was already off shift. She contacted supervisor who called me back and said I would receive my package that evening. Second driver called when he was 1 hour away and was very friendly. Driver helped carry 80 lbs package into my house. Supervisor called the next day to make sure we received our package. Thank you!!!

    locomote "express" did not pick up until 8/27, then on 8/28 transferred it from Clarksburg, WV (50 miles from us) to Hurricane, WV (75 miles from us) traveling on interstate 79 within 1 mile from the destination address. and has been sitting there since.

    Thanks for the reply, but the fact is that you have been in possession of a piece of equipment that I need for my business for over a week.

    I have had two items delivered by this company recently and have been very pleased with the service. They called to make sure I would be home before delivering the items and made sure the items were in good condition before leaving. I would recommend them

    I'll make sure they never deliver to us again. I'll ask (company) who they use and purchase accordingly. We ask for advance notice so we could have someone else here to help due to an arm injury. It killed him to help move them 2 ft into our garage that's in the alley.

    This is the worst delivery company I have ever dealt with I paid for home delivery outside of the main entrance and what I got was delivery at my neighbors house because the delivery guy was lazy and told my wife he couldn’t do it. What delivery company comes to a job without a hand truck. Very lazy and disrespectful to my wife!! And left the delivery right beside of the main road

    I ordered the heaviest sofa known to mankind, and James (Jay?) got it up and into my house despite my complete inability to help. It was not only the most impressive feat of strength I've ever seen, but it was also incredibly generous. I just kept shaking his hand in disbelief.

    Worst Trucking company ever! I've been in business in WV for 24 years, and this is the worst trucking company service yet. Let a shipment sit on the dock for a week before they delivered it! Nothing EXPRESS about them.
