Hastings delivered a shower screen to me today and I have to say the professionalism from start to finish was superb. Their office phoned yesterday to ask which day I’d prefer to receive it, and today the driver phoned me with a time window of when I could expect him to arrive with it. He even took away the pallet for me. Superb service!

I am a driver for the company (almost 8 years now). The drivers are friendly and will try there best to do all they can within reason and safety wise as they are single crew but what ppl must realise we deliver to many ppl and business and have a time scale we are only human. As for driving we are up against many challenges and there are a select few ppl that seem to see us coming and cut us up etc.

Whoever was driving the lorry reg: WX14 ZPH on 3rd September 2021 is a danger to the public and should not be on the road. If this is the quality of drivers they employ, I wouldn't go near this company!

Hastings Freight Ltd lorry MAN (plate EY65FBE) driver created an emergency situation on the road, drove into the oncoming lane at high speed and did not stop after that. It's happened on Scarsdale Rd Sheffield 13rd May 2021 around 11am. Terrible behavior of driver, it's a not acceptable ! Going to report police as dangerous driving

This has to be the worst delivery company in history. Rude delivery driver blamed his own office, customer services blamed the supplier, dropped a thousand pound 400kg climbing frame on the curb outside and refused to push the pallet truck 10 ft up my drive to a carport. Problem with couriers is they absolutley don't care cause its the suppliers that send the items not the customer so customer service is appalling. AVOID AT ALL COSTS IF POSSIBLE

Worst experience I've ever had with a courier service. They work under palletways. I waited all day for them to come & collect my pallet only for the driver to refuse it & claimed it's on a step when it wasn't. The pallet was on the spot where it was first delivered BY THE SAME COMPANY!!! There is no kerb on my street but we hv a clear access to the back of the house which is directly ON THE STREET, where my builders hv used & all our deliveries for the building work was delivered through there including the said pallet!!! He didn't even bother to bring down his pallet jack from his van. He left me standing in shock while he drove off recklessly just the same way he arrived. Now I'm charged again for the same collection because he put it in the system as failed collection. When people hv bad things happen to them, they don't know karma is real! Someone will cut him out in his misdeeds one day because he is the most horrible person I ever came across!!! I don't know which company can let such a person handle their work, they must all be the same. This company should learn to train their drivers properly in the area of being helpful & considerate to customers, it goes a long way to helping great businesses. As for me, never again will I use them, NEVER!!!

Worked for the company for 7 years. I handed my notice in due too a change off heart as too how things where going and happening. Pays not too good for the amount off hours you work plus they owe me money from a bonus. Keep trying too contact them by text and phone but not one person gets back. I've been away now for a month and still waiting.
Stay away unless your desperate because you will be treated like a number and not a worker. Shame it's come too this but bollex too it

Should have called to book a date. Instead just turned up at customers house out of the blue and dropped a 200kg stove off, kerbside for a single woman to take into a house. Phoned to ask why, they weren’t bothered in the slightest as they had fulfilled there drop off. WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY !!!!

Last week Hastings Freight delivered a piece of furniture for my company (unsigned) which they had completely snapped in half. We have CCTV evidence of dispatch and arrival but they say that they have no notes of transit damage and have been arguing ever since about liability and trying to mislead me even blatantly lied. I'm complaining to Trading Standards and any other relevant organisation.

I was expecting a delivery and called them for delivery time I left my mobile number and asked them to ring 15mins before. I was told it was the afternoon delivery 12.30-5. I phoned back at 2 to see if they could give me a time to be told they had tried to deliver at 11.38 but no one was there. It was rescheduled for the next day and I asked for a morning delivery and again asked them to phone me 15 mins before delivery. It was put on an afternoon again. It appears no one reads instructions and they are very unorganised would not recommend
