Interviewed here last Monday for a Logistics Administrator position, Interview went smoothly enough, was low-balled on Salary twice, the salary advertised was 21k, not "up to", but I had to fight to receive an offer of £500 less of what was offered.

Was offered the role not 10 minutes later while I was in the car journeying home, FLS wanted me to start the day after but I had some other commitments to finish and another job offer I had to turn down to accept this one, the following Monday was the agreed start date and contracts would be sent out shortly.

On Wednesday, 2 whole days after accepting the job and declining the other job offer, I was called to be notified the Business heads had a meeting and decided to rescind my job offer, advising that "Business needs had changed" and they were going in a different direction, despite my start date being 4 days away.

Surely this is something decided before posting the job advert and offering the role to someone? Before wasting everyone's time and knowing full well that I had to decline another job to work for FLS?

All in all, a very negative experience throughout and I hope they can make processed to not be this flippant in future.

Be aware if you do business with FLS, you could end up without getting paid. You better stay away from them or request a prepayment to avoid what is just happened to us!

Great company to work for. Always found me work and never any issues with payment. Every member of staff I had to deal with were excellent. And a big thank you to Ash who was amazing as a boss.

Just dodged a bullet, thank god I didn’t get the job!!
After their poor communication, not replying to messages, putting the phone down on me twice, even getting someone else to tell me I was unsuccessful rather than the interviewer themselves. In addition not being able to provide me with one bit of feedback which puzzled me even more!
I’ve worked in courier for 25 years, I never have I come across an interview experience like it!

A fantastic company to work for as a self-employed owner driver. The work is well paid and Ash, who is responsible for the multidrop side of the business is friendly, approachable and fair. He is excellent at what he does and has kept me well supplied with work, always available to help and advise.

I have had Hazardous Goods collected and transported both in UK Mainland, Ireland, Poland, Spain and Germany in recent times and it does not matter what challenge you present them with, they step up with a can do attitude that is second to none.

As a self-employed contract driver with their Express Team over about 6 months, I've found FLS to be fair, reasonable and paying decent rates of pay for the work being undertaken. I've never felt abused or mis-treated. I feel that their communications could be better, but I have seen an improvement there over the time I've worked with them. Their payment regime is strict, but I couldn't say it was unreasonable and I do get paid on time without drama when I submit invoices. Problems have always been resolved promptly when raised. If you a looking for ad-hoc driving work with your van, I'd recommend you give them a call.

Horrible company to work with, sub contract all there work. Not as big as they say they are. If you want to create a problem by using a middle man, give them a call, sure they will handle your freight poorly like they have done with ours. Would give 0 stars if i could

Communication is non existent, they promise you work and tell you no problem plenty of work, ask you to spend money on relevant insurance and stuff,even purchased a new van , and got absolutely nothing from them .
Terrible company in my eyes.

If I could rate no stars I would. Funny how they get they’re own staff to submit ratings to make them look good! Promise the earth and talk the talk but end of the day full of empty gestures.
