This is the third time we have used Exceptional Moving and More with our moving needs. This team is "exceptional" in all that they do. They worked collectively and diligently, were highly responsive, professional and attentive in each detail of prepping our furniture and packing the moving truck in preparation for a cross country relocation. Upon arriving to our new location, the moving team that assisted with unpacking the truck and setting up the furniture, commented that the manner in which the furniture was packed/prepped was meticulous and that this is atypical of what is customary.

I had a hot tub shipped from Wind River Spas in Denver, Colorado to Exceptional Movers facility, where they uncrated the tub and delivered and set it where I needed it. I had some tight spots to get through but it was no problem for these guys. I recommend them highly as a matter of fact A friend of mine purchased a tub From Colorado and it will be ready in February and my friend will be using Exceptional movers.

Exceptional Moving moved us from Santa Fe, NM to scottsdale Arizona. They held our furniture for five days as requested in order to move us into a garage of a home that was being remodeled. They are professional, great Packers , and extremely want to please the customer. They take great care with your belongings and are extremely amenable. The price was great as well. Carlos was friendly and easy to work with on the phone. I hired crews to move into two separate locations on two different days. Carlos offered a very competitive price. Day 1 was Pablo, Jonathan, and Andres. They were great. They took extra care to pad the ramp that was close to our new stucco job. They worked thoroughly and methodically to load as many of our items into the truck for storage as possible. Day 2 we had two crews of guys. Chris & Jonathan loaded the first truck to our future home. They had to take a handrail off the wall, and a screen door off the tracks to move items where they needed to go. The second crew (Brian & Andres) loaded a second truck to go back to storage. They did a great job too, although a sentimental piece of wooden furniture (tea cart) was loaded into the truck upside down, and a heavy item was put on top... causing the tea cart to break. Disappointing, but an honest mistake. We've moved internationally several times, and there is usually always a casualty in the process.

Wow.... I can't say enough great things about this moving company! They came through in a pinch when At Your Service moving company didn't bother to even show up for the job I booked through them. I'm so happy we found them, they were able move us the same day, were very professional, worked quickly without damaging any furniture and wrapped everything in blankets. I have worked with Carlos and his team at Exceptional Moving and More multiple times over the last couple of years! Whenever I call i am treated like Im their only client! They always are able to fit me into their busy schedule and are quick, professional and gracious. The team goes above and beyond and will do whatever I need done! Complete Waste of Money: This company was recommended to me by a close friend of mine who used them about a year ago to move a 3 bedroom 1800 sqft home. Having a very similar home, I decided to use them for a move in February of 2019. The move was literally 8 minutes away.
What a mistake!
I made my reservations online and then called them to confirm. Carlos the owner answered the phone and confirmed my booking, verified the size of the truck and crew I had requested, and gave me tons of assurances and guarantees for my up coming move. This is where the good part ends.
On the day of my move the two guys showed up and I walked them through what had to be done: Just the large items, no packing needed. My friend who recommended them was there to help me supervise and about an hour into it, she pulled me aside and said "These guys are moving really slow. The crew I got moved me in 2 hours." I started paying attention and realized that the two would come into the house, pick something up and sounder over to the truck and disappear for 5-10 minutes. I got curious and after one of their leisurely trips back to the truck I quietly went out where I could see the in the truck. They were both on their phones and gabbing. When they saw me, they both straightened up and hurried back into the house. When I met them on their return trip, I asked "How is it going?" and got "Good, there's a lot of things and the snow is slowing us down." in this way, they stretched a two hour move to 6 hours and 15 minutes. The icing on the cake was when they were unable to push my tool cabinet up their ramp and told me they would have to come back the next day with the truck that had the lift but I'd have to pay $30 extra for that. I kept biting my lip because I needed my stuff moved that day. Mind you, the tool cabinet that was too heavy for them had been moved by two other moving companies on previous moves without a problem.
Then there was the delivery debacle. Every single piece of wood furniture arrived with new dents and scrapes, the ceramic pot for a $250 silk plant was smashed, the plasma TV's base was bent to the point one corner was almost touching tv stand, the corner of the tv stand was cracked, the side of a filing cabinet had a large dent / bend in it and on and on.
The next day I had to meet them again at the old house. The tool cabinet got loaded and delivered and one of the three guys introduced himself as Carlos, the owner. I pointed out the variety of problems and he had a guy to fix this, and he could get a part for that, and no problem it would all be taken care of very quickly. Oh and when I pointed out the silk plant, he says "Well, moving your tool cabinet was going to cost you $60 but I'll do it for free in exchange for the broken pot". Wait! it went from $30 to $60, a 100% increase in 12 hours? But I agreed to the exchange just so I could get on with my life.
You guessed it. Carlos was lying with all his promises about getting everything fixed. I didn't hear from him for 2 weeks. Finally I called him. He didn't even remember the promises he had made. When I finally cornered him in his lies, he said the fix it guy had suddenly moved back to Mexico and the TV part couldn't be found on eBay and he wasn't about to buy me a new TV. Then he offered to take the items to get them fixed which I'm sure I would have never seen again. I stopped him and I said "I will be ending this conversation and I'd like for you to think about this and figure out what you want to do. But remember that in this day and age, the consumer has great power with the reviews they can leave about your services." Then I terminated the call while he was still trying to cut me off.
In a few minutes, he called which I let it go to voice mail. He left a ranting and raving message full of excuses and blaming me for everything which ended with "Please call me back and tell me what you want to do." Which I did and asked for refund for 2 of the 6 hours I was charged still willing to pay twice what it should have cost. Guess what? Never heard back.
Don't hire them.

Great group of guys! Helped me move all my incredibly heavy furniture up to the second floor of my home without even breaking a sweat. They were on time and able to move everything within an hour. Also they are hilarious... Highly recommend.

My fiance and I had to move on quite short notice. I contacted a number of moving companies on Yelp and Exceptional Moving & More got back to me very quickly!! I spoke back and forth with someone to help schedule the appointment, on a Sunday! And they continued to get the details arranged for me after the office was said to close. The fact that after the first two hours are up they only charge by 15 minute increments was a big selling point for me, as well as the exceptional reviews I read online.

Yesterday we had two amazing young men - Pablo and Isaac - come in to help us move. They were efficient, kind, and careful!! They double checked with me to make sure they knew exactly where things needed to go. They also helped us move out the washer and dryer in the place we were newly renting so we could move our own in. I would hire these guys again in a second! They were the best movers I've ever had, and I jokingly said to them "same time next year?" Though if we do end up moving again in a year I'll happily call them up to schedule it right away!
