I did a pocatello to pdx load on 12/06 for Bert/Justin Barber. Invoiced it on the 9th. They had no info on pick up or delivery. They winged it the whole time. Chose 10 day quick pay, but accounting became u responsive n paid it at their leisure.

The vice president call me up, bcuz he wanted this review to be edited. Had a condescending attitude ofcourse, he is the vice president. Ignored everything I told about the load and how this review came about.

Great place except for the shop. Was difficult to get things done.
My driver manager was awesome! The shop was frustrating.

Family oriented company, super great people, they always always greet everyone when you walk thru those front doors with a huge smile, I am a driver for this family and I love it I have a answer driver manager who keeps me busy and the load planning crew are just %100 phenomenal, I never complain about any load, good equipment, good miles and the shop crew are awesome

Truck well set idle on ambient temperature and bunk heater keeps breaking down leaving you very cold as the shut off temp is a low 30 degrees and the inward camera makes you feel like someone is watching your every move too much for me good thing they pay every week just wasn’t a fit for me maybe it works for others

My husband spent seven weeks out with an abusive trainer. So bad that he felt the need to quit after. As time went on he realized that this trainer didn't represent the values of the company.
When he tried to come back he was told that he had to get experience with another company first. So, he puts up with this horrible guy and now he is the one being punished.

Great place to work except the Dispatcher I had lied to the dispatcher supervisor and the supervisor stuck his middle finger up in my face about an inch from my nose. My name is Sam Bridgeman and anyone from this company is free to call me about this.... They have my number

I just got done with there orientation yesterday. I use to work for them right out of truck driving school. They have definitely changed.... There more relaxed, last time I was they wanted me to do flatbed. I did it for awhile but not this Italian. Flatbed wasn't for me. I told them I wanted to go reefer; but they said it's flatbed or nothing, so I went to Knight. They care about the drivers wants and there needs. It's better environment.

Signed on as a owner operator and the staff at Doug Andrus warm welcome and helpful nice as can be I've never been to a company like this all I can say is I'm like a kid in a candy shop here yep love it.

We needed a trees spade ship, they went above and beyond for us. It arrived today safely.

Only real issue i have is the truck I'm in keeps having problems. Everything else from the office personnel to the pay to the miles is top notch. These guys took me in after I came from a different company and they really care about their drivers/driver's family. Good quality company that has obviously done something right to still be in business after almost 100 years.
A little bit of something for everyone; reefer/dry van, grain hauler, flat bed. If you are looking for a family friendly, high quality, and fair company to drive for, Doug Andrus is definitely a top pick

Called on a load from ID to KY. The place where it was delivering to is Kroger, and they are notorious for holding trucks for days, so i asked the broker, do you pay detention in case they will hold the truck? NO, I DON'T WANT TO START OFF THIS WAY, and hung up. Tells me already what broker they are and how they take care of carriers. They will squeeze everything out of you, but when its time to compensate, lets hang up the phone. DO NOT USE!

Good place to work good money good insurance good home time the only part that I didn't like was the truck that I was in kept breaking down and they put me in another truck it kept breaking down and then they put me in another truck and it probably would have been a good truck but someone decided they were going to be not very good people and go around and mess with my truck and a few others and then came back drove a couple more different trucks just couldn't make any money being broke down all the time

AFTER MY DRIVER HAD LOADED AND WAS ON THE ROAD THE BROKER DECIDED TO SEND US A NEW CONFIRMATION FOR THE AMOUNT OF 1600 BECAUSE MY TRUCK HAD LOADED A SMALLER TRUCK.
MY TRUCK DELIVERED IN TIME AND THE DAY LATER, THE BROKER DECIDED TO SEND ME ANOTHER CONFIRMATION FOR THE AMOUNT OF 1100 WITHOUT EXCUSES.
THIS BROKER IS A LIE AND A SCAMER. HOW IT IS POSSIBLE THAT HE DECIDES SCAM 700 WITHOUT EXCUSE AFTER WE COMPLETE THE LOAD
WE COMMUNICATE WITH THE BROKER BY TELEPHONE AND EMAIL AND THE BROKER PROMISED TO PAY US 1600.
WE SEND THE PAPERWORK FOR 1600 FOR MY FINANCIAL. AND MY FINANCIAL SAYS THAT THE BROKER JUST WANTS YOU TO PAY THEM 1100.

A really great company to work for! Everyone is nice and friendly and know you on a first name basis. You walk in and it’s a warm welcoming atmosphere. I live out of state but they always get me home whenever I need to be. I strongly recommend Doug Andrus!

One of you drivers coming through saskatoon saskatchewan completely disobeyed traffic laws and put lives in danger. Your driver, from the far right lane, proceeded to do a u-turn at an intersection while he had a red light. He was nearly at a complete stop when he decided to disregard oncoming traffic turning onto the highway and cut us all off. Soooo many wrongs I don't even know where to begin. And just a history.. Saskatchewan lost 16 young hockey players in a bus crash just over a year ago because a truck driver failed to stop on at a stop sign. This is absolutely unacceptable and I will be following up with the company to ensure this driver is fired.

We hauled a load for them, and everything went well. We look forward to doing more in the future.

The trainers here are a joke. I am not exaggerating when I say that they would be fired and been fined/jailed for what they've done while training and driving if the issues were to surface in full. Illegal EDL use/falsifying. No regard for trainee or public lives. Ex: texting, playing games on their phone WHILE DRIVING. Missing turns, swerving all over the place constantly. Not wearing seatbelts and actually starting to drive before you are awake. That's right, I'm saying you wake up 15 minutes down the highway and you have no safety net, no seatbelt, no ladder to get down, and you would have no chance of survival in a highway wreck. Complete hypocrites that get mad for you needing to be trained. They need to monitor their trainers here better, it will tarnish their great reputation as a company. Great company to work for, trainers...shouldn't be driving. In some instances I have feared for my safety on a one on one setting, because they take their daily anger out on the trainee. Anonymous because public doesn't help, and may cause more issues that can be avoided.

I've never been employed with Doug Andrus Distributing, but have shared the road with many of their drivers. Drivers are always courteous and professional. Having drivers like that just goes to show you how strong a support network they have for their drivers.
