I have used APC for a number of years and have noticed that over the past 2 years the service has improved from what is was i had rated them poorly in the past .How ever now i find the staff helpfull and always polite when dealing with me on the phone or by email a huge improvement from what it was in days gone by .
Cowboys. Had an urgent delivery required to make PPE to support the NHS. APC tracking said delivery deadline was 4pm, at 5pm I called and when I eventually got through I was told "oh yeah, the drivers are started late and are running 2-3 hours behind". When I enquired why there was no tracking information indicating my delivery was even out for delivery I was told "they might be out on paperwork today and not using their scanner". Needless to say the package did not arrive, not 3 hours late, not 5 hours late.
So they managed to deliver my parcel on time however, I wasn't in to get it. They decided to not bother putting a slip through my door and I had to rush to get my parcel. Only reason I am making the review better is because they did attempt to resolve the problem and the person who was there when I arrived to get my package was freindly

Paid for guaranteed next day delivery. They made no attempt to deliver on the day despite getting email/text confirmation from them. There is no communication as to why they did not deliver yesterday I tried to call twice and was on hold for 25 minutes and 10 minutes respectively before I gave up. I can only hope and pray that I get my business item today. Not impressed at all.
Waited in all day for a delivery, 2 hours after the latest time to be delivered I call them to get told it won't be delivered and is an extremely important item I paid for a guaranteed next day delivery on.
Update... A gentleman named Jamie called me back and has got the issue resolved and managed an evening delivery. At last I got through to someone who was polite with good customer service ... Have added an extra 2 stars because of him !
Extremely poor delivery service. They dont stick to timeslots, don't bother to let you know when they decide not to turn up due to 'adverse weather' (as in the 2 inches of snow we got!) They say you order is out for delivery when it's in fact still sat in the warehouse. After 3 failed attempts i felt i had no choice but to make the 30 mile round trip to pick up the order myself in the end. Not even an apology when i arrived and to top it off one if the boxes was damaged and something missing as a result! Doesn't even deserve 1 star!

It was to my dads address, he said he'd be in all day which to my knowledge he was. No delivery. Rang these idiots back to be told my intercom wasnt working...dont even have a f*****g intercom so knew they probably hadnt even bothered. I just told them to hold the parcel til i could go and grab it, luckily they could just about manage that

I went to their office to collect my parcel, before I go there I rang them twice make sure my parcel was with them , they said that they had parcel and were happy to collect, so I went there and waited for 40 mints. Finally one of his staff came and said that they did not have my parcel and it’s was with one of the delivery drive.
Would not trust anything they say, missed collection then said they would upgrade all parcels this did not happened. Now saying no one was in, customer was in the garden all day as he was getting his heating sorted so keeping warm working in the garden APC saying carded at midday no way Birmingham office just lost this company my account DPD here we come.
Worst courier experience by a long shot!! Staff (you know who you are) and Emma in particular are absolutely incompetent!!
No txt service letting you know when they wil be delivering, I call them and they say it is at my local depot, I go there and hand my card over, Emma has a look in the back and tells me there's nothing there, it's out for delivery, I go home and wait, nothing, call them again they say it's in their depot after I requested it be re-delivered WOW the incompetence leaves me cold!!! Open you eyes!!!!
The best bit, my package was damaged, and my product broken!!! Guess who wil be re-delivering my replacement...... good luck to anyone using them

3 Failed Attempts (and counting...) — I was home and waiting for all the attempts — they just never showed.
They never attempted to call my mobile.
The last excuse was “it’s too far in the back of my van and I can’t reach it — will deliver tomorrow”.
Just terrible.
