I loved DMT while I worked for them. I averaged 3200 miles a week. Got as high as 3700 once. All in 6 days running legal.
Dispatchers, office personnel and other drivers are great. Loads are good, pay is average, equipment is great.
I found a local grain hauling job that gets me home most every night. So I put my 2 week notice in and I was
told to turn in my truck that same day. Kevin in recruiting/HR told me “ my job performance would decline and my services werent needed”.
No matter how good of job you do for this company, if you try to improve your personal life they will stab you in the back instantly.
Good place to work just dont put in a 2week notice. They will kick you out of your truck the same day.

I was a Otr driver for 40 years (not all with this company by the way), but my experience at DMT was a good one. One thing I really liked was the trucks and trailers they provided. Quality miles per week made for a nice pay day. All staff members were easy to work with. Yes, like all jobs there were some who complained (drivers) but company rules are rules to be honored. And if you really are a "Professional Driver" as they say, it's your responsibility to take responsibility for all your actions without complaining about the small details. In my opinion, DMT is a very nice place to work. For myself it was a great place to finish a successful career as a OTR driver!!

I will say this, I'm not impressed with one of the drivers.. Hes lazy, and unprofessional. I wouldn't use this company with that kind of driver..

Whatever you do ,don't want to go to work for this outfit ! They want you to load ,unload the next day .Physical labor,no miles !! You go to work for this company ,prepare to have you're family in the EBT line for food stamps!!

Been here 3 years in November 2019. It's the best blend of home time, pay, and benefits that I've had in 20 yrs of trucking. The dispatch folks work hard to solve all issues. The shop is quick and efficient. Trucks are washed 2x a month so the equipment stays sharp lookin. Really, if your willing to work, this is a great place.
