I was on the fence for a while about leasing on and finally made the move. Unfortunately, after a few months had to part ways. I made a goofball move that cost me. Completely my mistake. We met face to face and discussed the situation and moved on. I appreciate the professionalism given from Oakley.
I plan to try and come back in the future if that door is open. Yes, even after getting the “boot” I would come back!
All the drivers reading the reviews and thinking about leasing on, just call them and get on board! There’s money and a career to be made here if you want it. The only company you will see SO MANY brand new trucks! Gotta be doing something right! They take care of the drivers and have a lot of perks.
There are no “surprises” with leasing at Oakley. From my first phone call till the day I left, it was the same. These are good folks, open door and up front.

I didn't like drinking for Oakley I was there nine months. The Dispatcher they gave me was terrible when you call in to get a load he naver have anything you wait 2 or 3 hours you call him back he will get mad this happened all the time. I asked to get another dispatcher I was told no I could not. I'm not there now because I was told I did something wrong with a load that a customer rejected. Even though I did what the trainer they assigned to me when I started showed me and he told me what to do when picking up those types of load. Always get a trailer wash out before you picking up any food products and
I would always do that but because the Customer rejected the load they terminated my Contract. I feel I was not treated fairly and No I do not recommend driving for Oakley not a good working environment.
