Drivers for this company, wow. Doing about 90 down the a1 up peoples arses. Started flashing some poor old boy in an Audi cos he didn’t move over quick enough. I wouldn’t use them simply based on their drivers

We've been asking them to pay overdue invoice for a month now with no result. Most advanced fleet in Europe, but don't have 2 grand to pay? Pity.

We are a Rotherham based company and we had purchased a full articulated load of material, which was due to be delivered by Spanish transport / courier company unfortunately the Spanish company let us down at the last minute...... This happened on the 17th December and the stock was required to be with us before Christmas, needless to say we had been left with a huge problem, we made a number of phone calls one of which was to Brian Yeardley and thank goodness it was..... from the moment our call was answered by Michael Burns we knew we were dealing with a class company.
Michael was so helpful, polite and very efficient, it was a pleasure to deal with him..... Once we had sorted out the price, Michael even managed the unthinkable and was able to confirm he could get the full container to us before Christmas what a result...... Things then moved on to the actual collecting of the stock which can be a minefield in its self but once again we were amazed by the level of commitment by Nathan the driver, apologies i don't have Nathans surname but he was fantastic, kept us totally updated with the progress of the consignment from start to finish and nothing was too much trouble absolutely first class and i would not hesitate to recommend Brian Yeardley for any of my transport needs...... A big thank you and well done Michael and Nathan, very much appreciated

    Regards

Ci vuole molto tempo per scaricare il personale che sembra non sapere cosa ci faccia e non il più amichevole che non consiglierei Brian Yeardley per la mia esperienza

Shouldn't treat drivers like they do. Day rates do not work in transport!
Would earn more working much less hours and being home every night. Very good company image, shiny new trucks but its all a front. Behind the scenes its a very different story for drivers.

Used this very unprofessional company once - never again. Incapable of quoting correctly in the first place and then does not honour their quotes despite their failings.
They spend years sending reps into your office to beg for your business, but they always quote too high compared with the other professional international couriers.
They finally give you a good quote after you provide them with all the relevant information you have (the same data protected information given to other couriers who are able to quote accordingly), and so you arrange for the goods to be collected, informing them the day before they collect the goods of the full delivery address and the fact that the consignee at the delivery address has recommended a smaller vehicle might be best. This courier confirms receipt of all the necessary information the day before collecting your goods - does not quibble over any information supplied at any point or advise they cannot quote accurately based on the information provided or advise that they need to re-quote accordingly - turns up the next day to collect the goods and takes them overseas, then informs you that they won’t deliver the goods at the quoted price and demands another £300+ to deliver, which you have no choice but to pay as your goods are overseas.
Should have known better than to use a company who thinks putting “to all the haters” memes and using the C word on their Facebook page is acceptable - I mean, how unprofessional.
Speaking to the so-called boss is pointless. Someone else has reviewed this company and referred to the bosses as being bullies and this is completely accurate.
No customer service to speak of. Terrible management. No impartial complaints procedure - for this reason, I was advised by a legal professional to report this company to the Traffic Commissioners office, Department of Transport, and the Ombudsman Association, and due to not honouring their quote, to report this company to the ASA.
I cannot advise you more strongly to avoid using this incompetent company who does not honour their quotes.

Good points first, very proffesional set up for your paperwork, customs and loads etc.
The guys in the office are very knowledgeable. When I worked there I had an issue where I neeeded to get home and the transport manager really made an efort to get me back asap. And of course the equipment is good.
    Bad points.
Paid a day rate of £73 and that covers all hours, so if you have to do a 15 hour shift (and there are plenty of them) you are working for £4.98 an hour!!!! So where is the living wage?
Holiday pay is only £73 ×5 and not an average of your previous weeks pay as it should be, so if you have a week off you take home only around £300 for your holiday.i
You are told what time to start your first shift when setting off from the yard but if the loads not ready you are then told not to put your card in until the load is set to go so potentially you could be at work for longer than 15 hours but still for only £73.
The director (not brian yeardley) is nothing more than a bully, he struts around the place and has everyone jumping to his tune, his memos need to be seen to be believed, full of bad spelling mistakes and foul language, I have seen memos where he calls drivers "a bunch of c#@*ts. And this from a director of a company.
Highest wage I earned whilst there was £730 take home but that included 14 house worked on a bank holiday, week ended away in Belgium on the Saturday and Sunday and 7 nights out!!!! And the boss thinks he pays good money (well it's rubbish)
Trucks look flash and I was told they are fully equipped, the only thing he spends money on is stupid spot lights and air horns for his pet drivers, inside the truck (which in my opinion is where the money should be spent when it becomes your home) he doesn't spend a penny, mine had a fridge (which I think is a standard fit) no microwave, coffee perculator or even a transformer so I could work my own cooking stuff.
The saying is right , all flash and no cash.
So if you want to work for less than minimum pay, be bullied in the work place and spend your rest time when away from home polishing wheels and diesel tanks (first thing they give you when you start is alloy polish) then this is the place for you.
