Good service, reliable and helpful staff

I just call to place an order for 3barrels and wow the customer service I received

Never again .. went to Barbados for a month out 2 barrels ended up
I’m Trinidad .. didn’t get to
Barbados till we returned to the UK ..

I have used Kingsley shipping for the first and last time. They collected some barrels from my address on the 2/2/22 and told me they will be
leaving the UK on the 4/2/22 and will get to Jamaica on the 6/3/22 which was fine, now on the 7/2/22 the people at the wharf in Jamaica rang to tell my son that the ship bypassed, and will be returning to Jamaica on the 30/3/22 bear in mind we have our stuff packed in barrels from however long, we paid for them to get to Jamaica at a certain time that we were told by Kingsley Shipping, and not even the decent courtesy they did not have to at least inform us of what happened and what we can
do. When I rang Kingsley Shipping, bear in
mind I am upset because NO one could find the time to let us know what is happening to our things that was sent by them, I was met with a stink attitude by whoever answered the phone, this is the reason I hate doing business with black owned companies because they have no customer service skills and it does my head in trying to put up with their lack of principles. I am just putting this out there that people must be mindful of who and where you spend your hard earned money because they make you feel like you’re begging a service when that is not the case.

I habe only ever used Kingsley to ship to Jamaica, even recommended them to friends and family. But I think they need to reconsider the black British woman that answers the phone. She is rude, condescending, sat, full at attude from the she answered the phone. I ask her when the next pick up slot was she.told me with an attitude. I ignored it and said that's a good slot... she gave me the silent treatment front that point on... when I said hello because of silence she said what. I ask her if she was not hearing me and I repeated that it was a good slot. Her response was how should I know what that means and yhen went silent again. The attude continued the entire booking. If it wasnt for the fact that I knew Kingsley and the guys are nice respectfull people I would never used this shipping company again. Just nasty attude, she puts customers off ... learn to treat your own people well

I use Kingsley shipping For the first time And I do believe they have someone working with that company that stealing people goods from the barrel because I've sealed my barrel with two seal PlusThe one they gave me when the barrel get to the Destination Half of the goods was missing people need to think twice about using these people

First class service from start to finish. From before leaving the U.K. to delivery to home in Jamaica I cannot fault them The team both in the U.K. and Jamaica were very helpful and professional, ensuring that the experience with regards clearing my goods at the wharf wasn’t an unpleasant one. Would most definitely use them again.

October 2021. Have used Kingsley again to ship items for me. Junior as usual, packed everything so well and apart from the long waiting times at the wharf (not their fault), again have no complaints. Will definitely use them again.

Very bad customer service. When called to make an inquiry the man who answered the phone was very rude and wasn't helpful at all. Kingsley Shipping expect people to spend their money with them with this type of service. They deserve a ZERO star rating

DISGRACEFUL AND DISGUSTING so called company. No customer services, just excuses when barrels are stolen from. As far as I'm aware, the law is the law. I will be contacting trading standards and the police...for theft of my items from my barrel. This company needs to be CLOSED DOWN PERMANENTLY. If I could give 000stars I would.

Very poor service.. so disappointed

I am hugely disappointed in how their drivers drive. I had a near side collision when one of their drivers came down a left only lane and turned right last min to cut me off. I had to apply emergency breaking just to avoid hitting the traffic light on my right. My family were in the car and the driver and his colleague just laughed like it was a joke. I have their number plate and this will be reported to the police. SHAME ON DRIVERS. reckless without care to other.

Kingslshipping I find on whole is quite reliable regarding delivery and collection of barrels. They also give you an estimate of delivery at destination which is was impressed with. Buttons Icalled to purchase a barrel and found that person I spoke to was quite dismissive.which I feel is not good for business. Simple explanation was required to which she would respond with oneword and she seemed as if she didn't feel should explain. Very disappointed as my family have used this company for years. Please I asked that in future as the first point of call that your attitude is more approachable and more accommodating.

Absolute disgrace.... given a time slot of between 11 & 4pm.... 4pm they call me stating “soon come” 8:30pm they arrive with nothing but excuses and an empty box van which should have been filled for how busy they stated they were... I had to ask if the barrels actually arrive at the dock on time? I also told them “ tek u barrel n gallong... I will not be using them to ship anything for me, if a no star rating could be given, they would receive -5 stars. I seriously advise all not to use this “company” and I use the term “company” loosely as it is not a company at all. With this type of shoddy service I doubt if the goods would actually reach there destinations.

I recently sent three drums vy junior shipping he done his part by loading a container and handing it over to Kingley's shipping services.
I have used junior shipping many times before plus i also know the process of shipping as have work in it myself.
Thus i know when im being blaged off to which Kingley's shipping services seem to be contented to do rather than sort out the issue.
I sent three drums to which arrived in Jamaica mbj on 1st December 2020. Kingley's seem more than content to sit on there hand and blame others for something they are clearly responsible for the safe arrival of the drums i sent with them.
They are also responsible for the agency they use in Jamaica however Kingley's seem more than contented to let them do what they like as it seem way to much trouble to pestering them in contacting my Daughter to arrange collection before Christmas as they have had plenty of time to do this.
However it's a Jamaica habit to go with whomever hands out the most cash to get there stuff earlier and no doubt Kingley's are aware of this and get there share as it clearly pays in Jamaica and uk to rip people off as much as possible.
If it's not bad enough pay £200 to send then a further money to agency future shipping for collection papers then to get onto the docks only to pay again the only to collect goods to pay again to customs.
It's clearly becoming a corrupted system and pays well.
AS YOU CAN SEE NOT AT ALL HAPPY WITH KINGLEY'S

This business is failing and customers are being ripped off. Kingsley's shipping costs are not transparent and you get no clear information prior to sending your goods. You pay to ship your goods here and then you have to pay the same again to Kingley shipping offices in addition to the customs and wharf charges. The back office staff are phenomenally rude, totally lacking manners or customer service. Clearly, it seems as that this business has forgotten that other shipper's exist. Maybe smaller - but give them a chance. Take your business elsewhere. You have been warned.

First time I’ve used this company they didn’t return my calls and waited in all day for delivery of a barrel that never arrived very poor customer service. Very unprofessional

I have been shipping barrels with kingsley for over a decade .and in April 2020 sent 3 barrels house delivery and each barrel was half empty .spoke the the manager and he said that what they sign for ..so he's telling me that my brother she have empty all three barrels .upon collection at his gate ..am so disappointed

Firstly I must express how dishonest the staffs and Kingsley himself is. I've been shipping with this company since 2000, sadly I have been let down by the service received. The office staffs in Croydon is very rude like wise Jamaica . In the background you can hear them say " what does she want" . Obviously my goods that there are extorting over the top fee from me. I gave the size of my goods before collection, unbeknown to me they put my goods in a much bigger crate without my knowledge and expect me to pay for what I did not authorized. But there is a God.Everyone please be aware do not ship with Kingsley they are robbing poor people when their goods get to Jamaica. Hopefully this company will go bankrupt and God will repay them what they all deserve. These people that give five star are liars or friends, workers or family.

It was my first time shipping barrels so I was a little anxious and dubious. I called their office and their staff answered all my questions to my satisfaction which was reason I chose them. I spoke with Carlston on more than one occasion and he never made me feel like a nuisance.
I chose door to door service. Shipped 3 barrels.
When Kingsley came to collect barrels he came at a time convenient to me.
My barrels arrived in Jamaica exactly when they said they would. They even delivered 1 day before. I am very happy with the 1st class service I received from Kingsley Shipping.

Would not recommend this company or use them again , very poor customer service from Caston, I found another member of staff rude (Maureen), the phone rings off the hook, do not reply to emails, not clear on shipping costs, didn;t even bother to offer insurance, not given correct information about the shipment "Kingsley" you need to sort out this poor service you are offering before people go elsewhere, this is what I am going to do

Good professional service and competitive rates

Their drivers are terrible and dangerous. One nearly hit me tonight while I was putting my child in the car. They were driving at 40+ in a 20 zone and smoking weed in the van. I tried to catch them but they were driving too fast.

Brilliant service

We have been using this company for many years but unfortunately we will have to find a new one due to the many human errors that took place with our last shipment from the UK to Jamaica. Customer service skills leave much to be desired. And the light handed staff, that they have working for them in the wharf or on the delivery trucks, will hopefully choke on the food that they took out of the barrels that were meant to be for my elderly auntie.

First class fantastic service as always. Reliable prompt honest efficient & reasonable.

I have been using Kingsley Shipping for years now he has shipped to St. Ann, Mandeville and Clarendon all door to door, the one negative is the attitude of some of his agents in Jamaica, some are great and some very poor but overall I give 8/10

Very disappointed with the unhelpful service offered

Customer service in Jamaica is very poor. They don't know how to talk to people .

I have been using this company for the past 4 - 5 years and never have an issue with my shipment etc. The drivers are fantastic as I remembered couple times I had to work when they were picking up my barrels and everything when smooth as they called if running late because of traffic.

Maybe I have been lucky as have no issue with the receptionist based on other reviews I read here.

Kingsly shipping is a good shipping company anything our family send with them always deliver safely and on time. If this company need to get good reviews they will have to get rid of that no maners receptionist she does not have any form of customer relationship skills. The owner of this company and other staffs I've dealt with are very friendly and has good communication skills
Most of the reviews I've read speaks about the bad attitude of this same receptionist.

They're very good but too expensive

On the 29th May 2018 I spoke to one of the receptionist who had a disgusting attitude from the minute she answered the phone.I was just asking how much it was to ship a barrel and box from door to door,she replied with a attitude like she didn't care.Then I let her know that her rude attitude was not what I expected after using Kingsley for so many years.really disappointing.

I was discussed with the service very very rude staff my barrels were first addressed to the wrong individuals! Then then corrected it with attitude this is despite the fact they had all three barrels correctly addressed in the first place! The ladies themla and Cathy are soooo rude!! They had no customer service and they could be a big downfall in the best interests of this company.
I asked to speak to the manager and very young guy came on the phone claiming to be he! He talked very street no manners he even kissed his teeth when I told him I would never use this service as my barrels were delayed by three weeks he hang up the phone on me trust me never again! I used ram shipping before someone told me about Kingsley my advise don't go there try ram slightly more expensive but it's worth getting excellent customer service!

Absolutely disappointed this time around. Used this company before and they were brilliant. I sent a request in via email last week no response and spoke to a very rude lady who said she would call me back needless to say she didn't. So you have just lost my business and that of my family and friends. I'm so annoyed I didn't even want to give one star.
