I have had the WORST experience ever with James Cargo. The quality of service they provided was disgraceful and they are the most unprofessional company I have ever worked with!
When I first set up my business, James Cargo misplaced my whole order. In the end it turned out my stock was given to someone one else, as a result I was left with a poor quality order from a different company causing a huge financial loss to my business.
When it came to my third order they lost a whole pallet which they refused to any responsibility for. How can a huge pallet full of weights go missing??? I was passed from Rachael West to Tina Robinson and nothing was getting resolved. After a substantial amount of phone calls and e mails I was told I would be fully compensated for my missing pallet, however this was not the case. At this point I made contact with their manager Simon who didn’t have a clue about my missing pallet (shows what poor communication they have with their staff). Months went by and he too did nothing! In my opinion this is poor management.
Months later I was given a settlement figure. I took this settlement just to get them out of my business and to reduce the stress and problems they caused me and my company.
However months later, things changed and I was given a partial settlement figure after they claimed their insurers are paying less. I explained to them that this not my issue, especially when James cargo is at fault here!! Because the pallet they lost had missing items from a set, I was unable to make many sales, as a result I had to turn many customers away. This caused more inconveniences to my business and a again more financial loss.
I tried to e mail Tina for my payments and was ignored, everything fell on deaf ears. after months of telephone calls and e mails Tina did eventually give me the PARTIAL money I was owed. It is clear the staff I have mentioned at James cargo are incompetent and are incapable of resolving matters when stock goes missing. As a result of this I will NOT work with James Cargo again due to their appalling, inadequate and unprofessional behaviour and will advise family and friends to STAY CLEAR too!!

We have move our dog from sri lanka to uk ,service we received from James cargo was very professional. They managed to deliver the dog 2 am Sunday morning, all the staff including out of ours staff very polite and help us all the way through the process, delivery driver was very helpful and kept it updated.
Thank you to for helping us to get our dog safely home .

Horrific experience with this company (appeared to be very much a one-man band, at least that was our experience we felt when dealing with them/him.
They very much appeared to have a complete lack of experience with shipping BtoC and BtoB from the UK to Dubai and a general lack of professionalism
EXAMPLE: Threat to hold up our shipment from being released if the final invoice wasn't paid "Immediately" 15 mins after being sent to us -- NB: we paid a lot of cash upfront, offering our trust 'upfront'
A series of errors..
EXAMPLE: No side lift truck arriving to collect one of our containers which was PAID FOR and booked in advance.
A complete lack of systems in place for various tasks.
EXAMPLE: The formate required for the generation of our commercial invoice.
They ended up recreating our invoice which is completely against exporting protocol!
I have exported and imported containers directly myself many times, but never dealt with Dubai, and was recommended to use this company, BUT, ultimately, they cost us a lot of TIME, STRESS and CASH all of which was very avoidable if they actually cared about the customer journey!
RUDE beyond belief when speaking to myself and my team. A completely REACTIVE person/company/one-man-band chasing money VS offering value.

Everyone who worked there, especially Rachel, was super responsive and patiently answered all of our questions either by email or telephone. Really helpful and friendly staff. I transferred a cat from Miami into London Heathrow. Nathan, Amber and Danielle all responded to emails efficiently with all the correct information that was needed. Customs in London was dealt with brilliantly and received a telephone call between the times they stated (6-8 hours after arrival).
I will be using James Cargo again in the future. Keep up the good work guys.

I've given a 2 star because ultimately my dog arrived safe in NZ from the UK. However they were really difficult to deal with, emails went unanswered, key documentation was lost and they made the whole process quite stressful.
The service was really impersonal. No updates were provided from when we dropped our dog off with them until the quarantine in Nz confirmed he had arrived safe which was days later. We transported our dog from Nz to the UK 2years prior and the service received from the other company (venture pet) was fantastic in comparison. My recommendation to anyone looking to use JCS fortransporting their pet would be to use an alternative company.

My best friend just used your service and now she has to pay for 21 days of quarantine for her dog because your services didn’t do the paperwork like you said you would. It is very frustrating because not only now she has to get an extra rabies shot(not needed) but also she was set to continue to travel to Germany. Now we have to make an extra trip and the poor dog has no idea what is going on and cannot see her owner. How can a company say they will take care of everything and the paperwork but don’t? I wish I could give it zero stars but then I cannot even make a review.

My dogs cleared immigration and checks at Gatwick at 1740 as flight had 20 min delay (arrived 1615) was told at approx 8pm driver had finally arrived to transport them after 2 plus hour journey to Gatwick from Heathrow-their crates will not fit in a car hence reason for this- discovered Not picked up until 9pm no communication from them for £233 would expect a better service in fairness have used before and never had such an issue but am sure you can appreciate 5 hours after landing from European flight to being picked up is not acceptable

Don’t know where to start, surely the least reliable company I have the unpleasure to do business with.
Not trustworthy as they leave you with no info, late or no reply, and let you do the job. Then forget about your deadlines till you move to another company several weeks later.
Never got my motorbike shipped through them as a result.
Oh and be aware of their ‘French contact’. A real deal that missunderstood Australia with South Africa for over 10 emails and phone calls spread around 3 weeks. Not good when your business is based on international shipping.

Abysmal is the code-word here.
I spent a good couple months exchanging emails to understand what the procedure is to get my cats with me from Sydney to Amsterdam via London. Emails just get ignored until you solicit them via phone, information given is vague at best and contradicting over the different phone calls. If you politely point it out, you get given attitude.
Also i got quoted quite some money for things like certificates and pet passports that my animals did not need at all, turns out.
So far fantastic right?
But get this: After all this, the forms filled and sent, the expensive phone calls late at night to align with their time-zone, you arrive in London and find out that they do not know about you, nobody filed a single instance of you arriving, and the animal reception centre tells you you need an agent before your animals get released. Well i thought i had one, but clearly JCS had better things to do.
Imagine having to find a new one, do all the paperwork and pay, in a span of about 4 hours before you have to take your next flight, after a 26 hours flight and making a lot of expensive phone calls from an australian number in England.
Do yourself the favour of your lifetime and go with PBS. They arranged all with no fuss in literally 2 hours.
