I had given my cargo for shipment on 30th August 2019. Its exactly 144 days and my cargo has not arrived. The management keeps giving excuses that the cargo will come this week, this has been going on for over 4 weeks. Three weeks ago I got a mail from the shipping line informing me that they were not paid for the services and if payment is not received the goods currently at risk of seizure and charges are mounting at the port. Its over 3 weeks and the payment by integrated logistics is not made to the shipping company. On calling them, they state that they are having financial problems and they cannot pay now, but will pay in a few days.
The second issue is that they suddenly claimed that my cargo was over 6 cubic meters, I reached out to the shipping company and they told me my goods are 6 cubic meters and are billed for 6 cubic meters.
I have filed the complain with my lawyer and am filing for damages. Also reaching out to Qatar Chambers of Commerce to ensure that no one has to go through such awful business practices.
