    We ended up doing 2 cross country moves in 2 years (do not recommend doing this) - one with another company and one with Hi-Line. I regret not using Hi-Line the first time. Marty and Jon were amazing! They carefully packed our belongings including taking extra care to protect my kids Lego creations. The crews they hired on both ends were excellent and the check off process was very smooth. When the big truck wasn't able to fit down the street of our new house, they had to unload onto a shuttle truck but everything appears to be in great shape. I really hope we won't be moving again any time soon, but if we do I won't hesitate to reach out to Hi-Line again!

    My primary contact was with Jarom. I was kept up to date on my delivery status. They were quick and thorough while unloading my boxes. The process was very organized and I appreciated that they encouraged me to check out any item that I was concerned might have been damaged. An added bonus is that both were friendly.

    Jarom, James and Jolio were amazing people who cared for our household goods with the greatest of care. Making quick work of our belongings, they were done within hours and the truck was down the road.

    I highly recommend Hi-Line and Alisons Relocations, Inc. (ARI) if you are moving to Alaska.

    Went in there shop to replace u joint . On drive shaft. They replaced the whole driveline. $3,540. Just to get money from you.

    Hi-Line Moving Service delivered my household goods to Arizona after they had been sitting in a queue in Montana for 2 months. My goods were shipped by trailer from Alaska through Canada in February. Jarom called me when he picked up my goods and when he was expected to arrive in Arizona. He arrived when expected but his usual helper was booked and he was forced to use a temp service. This was a nightmare from the start as the temp was 45 mins late. Jarom had already started downloading the truck by himself. I would have helped but I had just had surgery on my Achilles Tendon. Once the temp arrived, his appearance was disheveled and was already sweating but immediately went to work. He was not familiar with the check off system which caused us to do double work of checking off the items. His hands were dirty and was not considerate of the white walls throughout the home. Also, he walked in my kitchen as if he was about to open the refrigerator for bottle water until I stopped him. He took a break and chose not to help with some of the heavier items that needed to go upstairs. Finally, he left early before the job was complete. Fortunately, Jarom completed the job with no complaints and documented the damages from the shipping as well as the temp worker for my claim. I did not want to make this all about the temp, but it was necessary to point out the importance of reliable help especially for a big job as move in/out services. As for Jarom, if he is to be a representation of all of the employees for Hi-Line, I would recommend them for any future move. Reliable help is a must thus only 4 stars. If staffing is available, assign two drivers for the move so you are not at the mercy of services at the destination city.

    Jerom was courteous and professional. He called me shortly after he was assigned to deliver my household goods. He gave me status updates, including changes or delays due to traffic conditions, and arrived at his stated time. He and his partner, Will, quickly, efficiently unloaded the truck and politely placed items where requested—even when we couldn’t decide. I’d hire Jerom/Will again, and unhesitatingly recommend them to others.

    Alison's Moving Services in Alaska handed my household goods off to Hi-Line for delivery in the lower 48. The driver, Jarom, was in communication with me as soon as the shipment was received by Hi-Line. My things were handled with care, Jarom showed up timely to his ETA commitment and was professional, courteous, friendly and consciences about getting items sorted out and to the correct rooms.

    He was patient with me when I changed my mind about where boxes should go, contrary to the marking when they were packed. That was appreciated. Encouraged me to check inventory received against checklist provided by Alison's. Set up the furniture that was dismantled for the transport. Exceeded my expectations in service delivery. In reading prior reviews, am not sure if the company has undergone staffing changes, but my interaction with Hi-Line staff was very positive. Would recommend this company and if needed will use their services again. 5 stars!

    Peggy, JO and Chris showed up to pack my house up and were AMAZING and professional! They got right to work and were extremely friendly. They all handled my stuff with care and were very respectful! Kylie was also extremely helpful during my military move.

    Absolutely terrible. Beyond terrible. It’s disgusting how you packed my items. DO NOT use this company if you value your belonging. I literally just opened a box with no packing material and items were just tossed in. Workout weights tossed in with fragile household decorations, I’m scared to even open the other boxes.

    Worst moving company ever. I saw their ratings prior to the move but was ensured the rating didn't reflect the current company. They were right, 2.5 rating is far more kind than the 1 rating they deserve.

    The crew was unprofessional. 2 men, 3 ladies (1 with a bad back needing a cane and assistance getting up and down the stairs) and a 12 year old (I can't make this up). 3 day pack and move was disastrous from the beginning. I do not even feel like wasting my time writing a detailed review so let's just say they were inexperienced and unprepared. The service was far subpar. I found out the 2nd day that the driver enlisted the help of his family because they needed money. I shouldn't have been a test dummy for a crew that doesn't know what they're doing. I was expecting professionals.

    My things are now in storage until my home is ready, but I just hope everything is still intact after that horrendous move.

    They lived up to their absolutely terrible ratings. The sent only 2 people to pack our house in a day. And one of them was sitting on their phone the whole time. I think the only reason they're in business is due to government contracts. Steer clear of this business

    Best moving company in Montana... They did a job for me last year and I ended up coming to work for them... Great people and I enjoy now working with them.. hard workers and they get the job done...

    I called hopping to talk to someone about my shipment.

    Unfortunately was never called. Over my courier in Alaska in the moving industries. I personally gave Hi-line millions of $$$ of business, had I treated my customers like this neither Hi-line or Royal Alaskan movers would have seen any business. I have over 15000# pounds.

    I went with Pods moving doing the work my self four 16ft pods loaded to the back doors each one moving from Newport Washington to Santee SC. 20142zip.

    I then called Hi-line to ship my UTV / SIDE BY SIDE DID NOT GET A CALL BACK

    One of the most unprofessional and frustrating experiences I have ever had while moving. The day of delivery, they were late and didn’t call. Don’t try to call them, because they don’t answer or return calls very often. If they do answer, you get attitude.
    They should have come to pick up our boxes as scheduled, and they didn’t show up the day they were scheduled. It took me calling multiple times to be told they ran out of hours for the day, and had to reschedule. The day they rescheduled for, they did not call at all. My husband and I had to call multiple times, to finally get an attitude when the phone was answered saying the crew was out and would call us soon. They have not called, the work day is now over, our boxes are still not picked up... again... and we have not gotten any call to reschedule for what would be a third time. Highly unprofessional, frustrating, and I frankly would not recommend them.

    Hi-Line Moving Services was assigned to my military PCS and it has been the worst, most unprofessional experience I have ever had. They do not answer their phones and when they do it is full of attitude. They were supposed to pick up the empty moving boxes last week and after numerous calls, they finally answered and said that "Their team didn't have any hours left to work so they had to reschedule".

    Well the day of the reschedule came and no calls, nobody has shown up, simply nothing. So after 5 calls and voice-mails they answer and knew exactly who I was and why I was calling, so I know they listened to my voice mails, and they tell me the crew is on the way and will call me shortly. An hour and a half later, no calls, nobody has shown up, so I tried calling again to get a status and nobody answers.

    If I have any choice, I will never use this company again and I do not recommend anyone else go through this moving company.

    I dont think even a 1 star rating is justified for this trash of a company. Similar to what others have experienced, they are completely unresponsive, unprofessional, unapologetic, and downright incompetent. Not only did they give us the wrong date for the pick up, they didn't even call us to let us know what time they will be coming. Not a single phone call even leading up to the pick up date. They notified us on the day of, to meet the movers at the pick up location and showed up 1.5 hours late and couldn't even be bothered to apologize or give us a heads up that they would be late.

    The actual movers themselves are friendly and professional. They just need to replace whoever is in charge of scheduling and dispatch because he/she is totally incompetent and unprofessional. If any of you are military, do everything you can to request a different moving company through TMO.

    If I could give these guys -100000 stars I would in a heartbeat. I get it, a pandemic and moving across the country is not easy but there is no shred of decency or ever 1 atom of care with anyone in this company. My stuff has been sitting in their warehouse for weeks...WEEKS. When they gave me an estimated move date and never showed, I had to BEG for someone to respond. And the response I got...my newborn child, who can’t even read or write and talks in gibberish while throwing up on herself can write a more articulate and considerate email back quicker than these clowns can. Are you going to pay me close to $70,000 in furniture or will you answer why my items and possessions are still sitting in your warehouse?

    Worst moving company I have experienced in 14 years of military moves!
    They did a horrible job packing our stuff but honestly I could overlook that. But then they ended up keeping our household goods in their storage for 3 weeks while we were already at our new duty station. Then they show up with nothing but boxes. They split up our entire household goods, the driver didn’t sign for what he took so there’s no documentation and we are stuck with a house full of boxes and no furniture to put it all away. The kicker was that at that time the rest of our stuff such as beds, crib, couches where still in their storage and they told us they don’t have a driver available. After almost 4 weeks!!! When you call them no one picks up and if you get a hold of someone there’s not a sign of empathy or being apologetic. Stay far away from this company. I’ve never encountered this lack of professionalism and communication.

    Poor communication, until the day it arrived we weren't even sure we were getting a truck to show up. Quoted low price, got us to commit then after our stuff was loaded doubled the cost. Back to piss poor almost zero communication, no returned calls from Dave who was supposedly handling the move, then had damaged items when unloaded

    I called to talk to secretary and nobody answered the phone went to a recording asking if you wanted to transferred to Alaska or other places. No local phone number to reach them

    So careless. My stuff was put in boxes with no wrapping or anything, and so many things were broken. My couch was damaged and so dirty when it came, and I am missing two boxes with important valuables that can’t be replaced. My dressers all had cracked legs, and same with my beds. Not impressed.... if I could give 0 stars I would.

    This moving company is TERRIBLE. My husband and I were missing multiple items when we got to our new base as well as many things that got damaged along the way. We bought the movers pizza in hopes that our things would be well taken care of but things were literally just put into boxes without wrapping around them and it didnt matter if things were breakable or not, they were put into a box the same as anything else. Malmstom needs to end their contract with this company because they do not treat your things with respect. If you can move yourself or request a different moving company I would recommend doing so.

    Worst experience with a moving company I have had. Very unorganized and poor communication. Upon receiving my goods at my destination I had tons of damaged and missing items. The way they handle the paperwork and document your stuff is vague and non specific so its difficult to claim damages. Some of my things never made it either. Terrible business. DO NOT USE!!!!!

    Worst movers I have ever dealt with! Falsified paperwork, lied and I'mpretty sure they blocked my phone number. When our stuff finally got delivered it was well over a month later than the guaranteed delivery date!

    This company is the worst, I will never recommend or use them ever again. My stuff is lost and they can't find it. I will be suing if my furniture is not found, if I could give zero stars I would and I don't understand how they still are in business.

    TERRIBLE! Oh...they were very nice on the phone. Kept in contact for a month. Sent packers...but then couldn't find a driver and QUIT the contract!! Our house sat packed for 2 weeks before we could find another company. This was a military move and they got suspended from the DoD contract. BUT we learned they continued to operate under different names. When we finally got a truck to come, the driver had to have everything re-packed before he would assume responsibility for it because it was done so poorly. Stay away from ANY moving company out of Great Falls, MT.

    the worst movers ever!!! ruined all my brand new furniture, less than a year old! put a push mower upside down on top of my couch which then dumped oil all over my new couch. think they'll take care of your motorcycle? nope! scratched my side panels, my carbon fiber muffler and broke off my turn signal! BROKE IT OFF!!! good luck getting your claim from them. ill move myself before ever using this company again! way to treat your Military Members!

    I'm a professional mover... I came here to pick up a military load going to Kansas.. I called several days I'm a row to set up an appointment and labor... no one answered the phone or return a voice mail.. I started to load the furniture half of it was misplaced and they had to find it...

    Hi Line moving was a TERRIBLE experience….. the movers showed up high when they showed up (in Alaska) and they were nothing but terrible to work with….. our items were damaged and their "claims" were a JOKE they broke my expensive elliptical, scratched my heirloom hope chest, broke my dollhouse my grandfather had handcrafted for me and many more things I think our "Claims check" was a grand total of $300 for thousands in damages skip them they are a joke
