stay away from hartt , stay away from PHIL WHITE , he is dishonest , rude and unprofessional , shipper loaded our trailer incorrectly and they kept trying to blame US , after 1 day of sitting and 2 new locations to try to get unloaded still refusing to unload , load was taken back to shipper where again they didn't want it finally they found a location to take the load. after all this was said and done , they didn't want to work with us on compensation and had the take it or leave it attitude. Smart carriers please stay away you will be burned and they will cause you to lose money.

Driving down I-71 in Columbus, Ohio and I was almost hit by this truck TWICE. He was speeding and switching lanes recklessly. Very poor driving.

started working for hartt transportation in bangor maine april 1st 2017. i had thought that i had finally found the best company driver job ive ever had in the 10 whole years id been trucking. then january 1st 2018 happened. i was in a tractor trailer accident in new jersey due to no fault of my own. another tractor trailer side swiped the whole right side of my truck and ran me into the croncrete barrier. my lower spine was messed up due to the accident that kept me out of work for 3 months on workers comp. they tried to bandaid me up by sending me to their so called doctors that did nothing for me. wouldnt even wright me a decent prescription for the pain. hartt and their doctors forced me back to work unhealed and me never being in an accident such as that went back after much harrassment from them for fear of losing my job and everything id worked so hard for. i reluctantly went back trying to be the good employee and hoping the pain would eventually go away but it didnt. it continueally had gotten worse. i tried to push through the pain as long as i could until november 9th 2018 and told them i had to start going back to a doctor(my chosen doctor)this time which was my lawfull right. the pain had gotten so bad i could not sit still behind the wheel. needless to say, even with all the medical evidence showing i have ruptured discs in my lower spine they refused to help me with any doctors and have not paid me any workers comp since novemeber 9th 2018. i finally had to get a lawyer to force them to do the right thing seeing i was injured ON THE JOB. as of today ive learned from my lawyer that hartt has gotten their own lawyer trying to fight against me. here i am injured, not being able to stand more than 30 minutes to an hour without falling down due to what appears to be nerve damage imo and not even being able to do even trivial things like cleaning up, sweeping, ect without going down due to the pain and they treat me like this. i could keep going on about them regarding all the harrasing phone calls too ive recieved from them but i hope that anyone considering going to them for employment learns from my review and chooses a better company to work for because God forbid you get hurt on the job and have to go through what im still going through. UPDATE: 2/1/19 hartt is still fighting me in court. my lawyer had informed me they are stooping so low as to lieing about me and also claiming my injury is not from the accident. i have had to come out of pocket for my own medical care and have now run out of funds to get the care i need. never thought they would/could be so sorry and disgusting of a company.

This company is horrible! I had a 4PM delivery at Amsterdam Target one day and I did not have the right delivery # and these guys just left home at 5 without taking care of my issue. Extremely unprofessional brokers I strongly recommend no one work with these people.

I was driving on NY state thruway on the I 90 east bewtween Rochester and Syracuse when one of this company's trucks began tailgating me, high beams flickering and horn honking..I was in the right lane going 65 mph the speed limit.. yet he is driving up on my rear end and acting like this.. not sure if this is how they want there drivers acting but I thought it was totally uncalled for.. the date was Oct 10th 2013 and time about 10:30 at night.. trailer had #30634 on tail end..he or she should be talked to...
