Broker Annie needs to learn more about customer service and having a good attitude. Asked for a little more money on the rate due to it being listed very cheap for the weight. Says she can add $5 in a very disrespectful tone.

Avoid booking a load with them

I have worked here for 4 years going on 5 and haven't ever worked at a place that I have enjoyed more than Express Logistics. Management is great with work life balance, they understand your goals for the future, and promote from within. Benefits are good with a 401K. The longer you work here the more they reward you.

Communication from top management to employees are great. Express typically holds 2 meetings a year to let you know how the company is doing and the vision for the future. Makes you feel like you are apart of the company and family instead of being kept in the dark about important information.

This is truly a great family company and the reason why I haven't left.

Express Logistics has been a solid partner for us and has helped get material from all points in the country to our job locations with high visibility to us and without damage. When there have been issues, we've been able to address them candidly and get resolution. We have used them for shipments ranging from a single pallet to full truckloads. Their website portal for LTL shipments is extremely user friendly. A few weeks back McKenzie Rothmeyer called my office wanting to discuss my companies trucking needs. I am the purchasing agent for a stone fabricating and installation company with a shop in Knoxville and Nashville. She had such a friendly, customer service driven attitude I told her she could send me a quote to transfer material back and forth from our 2 locations as our flatbed was experiencing mechanical failures. A week later a vendor out of Texas could not locate a company to deliver to 14 slabs of granite to our Nashville location the Architect on the project was adamant we provide per his specifications. McKenzie was quick to provide this service and kept it within budget. Her follow through was amazing. The number of services and resources they have are abundant. I would refer Express Logistics and McKenzie to all who should ask. As a matter of fact I forwarded her information to the supplier in Texas for future reference.

When the opportunity arose that we needed to ship something large I found his number and he under cut the competition by MORE THAN 50%. Working with Express Logistics has been a nightmare! We were quoted a price and told that it would take 16 days to get a pallet to Haiti. It has been well over a month, our pallet has yet to leave the US, and we are now told that the price charged was only to get it out of the US, we now have to pay extra to get it into Haiti.

One positive. Even after countless phone calls and angry emails, our representative has always done his best to answer questions.
