I couldn’t give them a zero so does the only reason it has one stars if you don’t have experience don’t come I understand some of as desperate broke and in bad situations but if you don’t have experience is going to be very hard and stressful to pass in 2 weeks you have passed a smith test pre trip backing and in class from 6am to 6pm first week a completed waste of time I didn’t learned anything second week is pressed so you can pass if your are a fast learner great but if you’re not please rethink and do your search

Great place everyone treats you with a smile love working for CRST

Ron was excellent. He explained how idle management works and did a fine job walking me through it. The bumpers I came in for was repaired. And he checked my brakes which is what I was most concerned about the most he assured me that it was safe to drive while teaching me how to identify when there ready to be changed.

Tim also did a fine job scheduling my appointment and making me feel like my concerns were relevant.

Big thanks to the CRST mechanics. I greatly appreciated their help.

Jami Beker is a liar. Gave me and my buddy wrong appointment times. We had to wait 12+ hours because of him. When I ask him about this and again this piece of s** gave me another fake delivery appointment. Big Liar. STAY AWAY FROM JAMI BEKER.

Was taught the absolute bare minimum to be able to pass your test. They expect your lead driver trainer whatever to teach you the rest. I had a family emergency in TN that I had to leave for mid orientation. I explained that I would come back to another class and my recruiter LAUGHED at me and told me Goodluck getting my CDL from the DOT. I PASSED all of my tests and yet was having to fight for them to send my road test scores down to the DOT. I spoke to a higher up who apologized and explained that yes I would still get my CDL and that it was fine to come back to another class. Yet barely a week or 2 later I was already getting notices about collections and my company record showed that I was denied employment. My husband who was also hired, we were to team, was all of a sudden denied too. After all this I had to fight hard to get any class A job as anytime I would tell companies NADTA OR CRST they literally hung up on me. I finally quit reporting where I got my CDL from

A great trucking company overall! But the shop employees at CRST terminal Cedar Rapids are unwelcoming. Especially the person at the parts is very disrespectful. He yells and rushes you to leave the shop and even refuses to give some parts that approved by the DM.

I drove for them for about 6 months. There was a lot of down time. If we completed a load on Thursday we would have to wait until Monday for another load. The dispatcher lied to us all the time, promising us there would be a load as soon as we finished the one we had, never happened. the pay is very bad. They will have you go 100 miles out of the way instead of taking a toll road. Very bad company to drive for. Go to Schneider, they are a lot better.

Been here a week and already got shafted. If THEY shut trucks down due to adverse weather, causing you to be late on a load, don't expect detention pay when you arrive at the consignee. They'll essentially hold the driver liable for it being late...

When you ship with a Large company, your risk of losing your product and business reputation goes up dramatically! When you ship with CRST, your risk is so high it is incalculable! CRST is a training company that can not effectively manage the safety risk their driver can pose.

Ship with a small company or a all Owners Operator company. They can’t afford missteps.

They are very one sided as an employer. I've never seen anything like it. As a woman I felt unsafe.

Too many students per truck and trainer.

No support for recruits. Dot physical location CJCOOPER which they use are not very professional nor knowledgeable. Sent me in circles while there. Dont go by their itineraries because they change constantly with no notice. Beware of contracts. They try rushing you to sign them. Be prepared to tell the instructor to hush and wait.

Dishonest. Never pays as well as represented. Have done different jobs and routes. When you're over the road continually left to sit waiting on loads. Have to check every paystub to make sure youre not shorted which happens

Worked for them for 21 days. Pulled me iff ny trainers truck & stuck me with my friend who had no business being a trainer all because he said he was my bf which was a lie. He put me in a dangerous situation that I wasnt prepared to handle and neither was he. I went through 5 to 6 trucks in those 21 days. Only completed 1500 miles of my training. Spent a fair amount of time sitting waiting for a 3 axle alignment. They proceeded to blacklist me so I cant drive for anyone else because of their contract. Thx crusty

This company is dishonest and lies to people. I was lied to by Carol Feldman a recruiter. I was there 3 days and they disqualified me for a traffic accident that happened two years ago which I told Carol the liar about. Now I get a bill in the mail randomly for $1,000+ from a debt collector. These idiots didn’t have the decency to mail me anything first. This company is dishonest and should fall in a hole, karma comes back around. DO NOT GO HERE IM WARNING YOU NOW!

Worst place I've ever been. Everything that was said turned out to be b*llsh*t lies. No money to be made on lease purchase. Been here two weeks and delivered two loads.

No help from main office either. They say they have an open door policy but never return any calls and you can't reach anybody there.

Nobody their has a honest bone in their body. Gave 20 day notice today to walk away from lease, let's see if that was true

Can you please fix the Wi-Fi problems. Some of us want to study in peace in our own rooms, please provide Wi-Fi there.
Lodging is fine, they provide you a good place to stay & sleep. The breakfast is alright. Lunch is just not enough to feel like you ate something, could provide a little bit more.

Coming up on our 8th year as a team and this company continues to improve. We worked for others and have seen the worst in big company campaigns against drivers and office personnel alike. This company treats its employees as value members. Honest and reliable we are grateful to work for a company that really cares for its employees.

Live chat Jenna B seemed kind of rude. She answered one of my questions but I felt like she rushed of the chat when I wasn't done with asking questions. Just trying to get understanding that's all.

The training was bad. They allowed students who failed their backing 5, 6, 7, times in a row to pass the CDL skills backing test

This is 1 reason trucking has went to hell folks. Crst truck #116110 pulling trl 810153 just sat in a fuel island for almost 11/2 hrs. Blocking the island at a quicktrip in des moines, ia. The colored female driver went in got groceries then her an her possible trainee sat there and ate then talked and had a few smokes. This is no way good to b training people to block islands.but im sure even the trainer was taught that this is ok..get a grip on ur drivers crst..
