I wont even give then a star no customer service. we book load picked up and unload on time keep them updated and paid the lumper. sent the recites in to have it add to the rate con and then it turn i to a fight just to get a updated rate con
wrose people to book load with they will give you load and if you have any problem on the road ex ( truck brake down ETC ) they will deduct $500 from your load if your trying to call them to let them know you have truck issue you cant make it to delivery appt they wont ans your phone after hours and they will just deduct your rate by $500

Anywhere from 60 to 75% of this loan, a loan that could be 100% forgiven was supposed to be spent on payroll costs to ensure people would not lose their jobs. It goes without saying that this employer had no intention of protecting its employees during the early stages of the COVID-19 crisis. Well done!
Lie about the appointments. They threaten the driver after realizing their own mistakes. And blame new hire for not knowing how to respond.
It was brokers mistake for not been able to schedule appointment, and not been able to pay detention. They hold the truck for 5 days and threatening to put a claim on carriers insurance for holding a load and reported as lost bcuz they didn’t send an updated rate confirmation before the delivery.
The carrier wasn’t impacted bcuz driver reported the threat to the police before they reported the lost cargo and informed the insurance about broker threatening to file a claim on insurance.
DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM. PERIOD. Dan, David, Jack everyone was miserable.
9/1/20 got a load from Backhaul Direct. Picks up from Mattel in Jonestown PA to Target in Stuart's Draft VA. Over halfway to Target, broker calls saying Mattel made a mistake turn around.
After fixing shipment, I arrived at Target 5 hours late. Target decided I had to drop my trailer and it would be a week before getting it back. Broker said I would be paid. So, 9/8/20 I finally got trailer back but come pay day I did not get paid for all those days!!! Needless to say I was in the RED!!! FREE LABOR AND EQUIPMENT!!!
